Saturday's postcard: RPPC of boy and teacher

This real photo postcard was written on but not stamped or addressed. Was it delivered in an envelope? Hand-delivered? At least we can still see the KRUXO stamp box on the back, the design of which indicates that this card dates to between 1908 and 1910.

This is the cursive message on the back:

Dear cousin: —

This is a picture of our boy taken about a year ago and the girl with him is the teacher that teaches here and boards with us. Was glad to hear from you. Glad you were well. We have been having awful bad colds. When you write to Lottie tell her she owes me a letter and I would like to hear from her. Write soon. Ever yours, Nora [?]
